Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university, completed by August 10, 2025 (23:59 hours). Basic computer knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be aged 18–27 years as of August 10, 2025. Relaxations include:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years with 3 years of continuous service
- Widows/Divorced/Judicially separated women: UR (35 years), OBC (38 years), SC/ST (40 years)
- Ex-servicemen: As per government instructions
- Meritorious sportspersons: +5 years
Selection Process
The selection process comprises three tiers:
- Tier-I (Objective Test): A 1-hour, 100-mark test with 100 multiple-choice questions across five sections (20 questions each): Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, and English. Each wrong answer incurs a 0.25 negative mark.
- Tier-II (Descriptive Test): A 1-hour, 50-mark test including an essay (30 marks) and comprehension/precis writing (20 marks). Candidates need at least 33% to qualify for Tier-III. Approximately 5 times the vacancies will be shortlisted.
- Tier-III (Interview): A 100-mark interview assessing personality and aptitude. The final merit list combines Tier-II and Tier-III scores, followed by character verification and medical examination.
